Wedding FAQ
What should I expect on the wedding day?
Most weddings often follow a similar schedule:
1 Preparation - 1-2 hours - Candid images of bride/groom getting ready. Portraits of the bride with bridesmaids and groom with their groomsmen. I'll also capture images of the floral arrangements and little details around the venue.
2 Ceremony -1 hour - The classic walking down the aisle shots, vows, rings, first kiss and send-off. It's official!
3 Group Portraits- 30-45 minutes - Now is a great time to get some wedding party and family portraits before everyone heads to the reception.
4 Couple Portraits- 1 hour - I recommend spending maybe 45 minutes to an hour capturing some new couple portraits in and near the wedding venue, and some more near the reception location. If this is around sunset great, if not a few more portraits at sunset are always a good idea.
5 Reception - 2-3 hours - Time to celebrate! The grand entrance kicks things off, and I'll be making sure to capture all the reception activities you have planned, cutting the cake, first dances and more!
Are the travel expenses included in your packages?
For the wedding packages travel up to 2 hours from Bishop, CA is included. That covers everything on the East side, from south of Lone Pine to Bishop, and Bishop to Topaz Lake. If you are getting married further away don't worry, I love to travel and we can work out an affordable way to get me to your wedding. Typically I charge 75$ for each hour I have to drive beyond the first two to cover fuel and time on the way there and back.
Can you recommend any good locations?
Of course! You likely have your wedding venue in mind already. Near each of the venues on the east side are a ton of good options for pictures. I like to spend about an hour doing post-ceremony portraits before the reception. We can make a plan based around where your venue is located. If it's a venue I haven't been to before, I will scout the location before the wedding day to make sure I've got some epic backdrops planned.
What if the weather is bad on the day of the wedding?
Rain on a wedding day is good luck and believe it or not bad weather often makes for even more beautiful pictures! My camera gear is very water resistant and I have plenty of experience shooting in the rain from working for newspaper so it shouldn't be a problem.
How quickly will the images be delivered?
How do we book/pay?
I will deliver a highlights album of my favorite images within a few days of the wedding. The complete album will take a bit longer, up to 2 months. I am meticulous with making each image as perfect as it can be and wedding season is busy so the editing process takes time. Taking a picture is only half the creative process, the edit is where my style is applied to the images. It will be worth the wait, I promise.
Just send me a message through the "contact" form on this website and I'll get back to you soon. Once we decide to make it official, I'll send over a deposit form and contract which, when completed, will save the date. The deposit is 25% of the package total, due upon booking and the remainder will be due two weeks before the wedding day. Don't hesitate to reach out, wedding season here is busy so lock in that date!

Portrait & Engagement FAQ
Are travel expenses included in your portrait packages?
-Portrait packages include up to an hour drive from Bishop, CA. That covers everything from Lone Pine to Mono Lake. Further than that and I will add a fee of 50$ per hour to cover gas and driving time.
Do you do family portraits?
I love doing family portraits! I can do small families or big extended families, maternity and newborn pictures as well.
Can I customize a photography package to fit my needs?
Absolutely! If you want to do something different and creative I am immediately so down. Or if you need more final images we can work that out. I am flexible and adaptable and want to help you make your vision come true. Let me know what your budget is and we can make it work!
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
The "Moments" package is great for a quick turn around of all 15-20 images within 48 hours.
For the "Memories" and "Magnificent" packages I will give you a sneak peak album of 10 images within 48 hours and all of the pictures within 3 weeks.
